Planet Fitness is feeling the burn.
In the five days since they banned an Alaskan woman who reported a man for shaving in the women’s locker room, the value of Planet Fitness has dropped a staggering $400 million, according to the Daily Mail, which reports, “The company’s value dropped from $5.3 billion on March 14 to $4.9 billion on March 19, and its shares are down by 13.59 percent compared to a month ago.”
As BizPac Review reported, Patricia Silva, from Fairbanks, Alaska, walked into the Planet Fitness women’s locker room earlier this month. A young girl was reportedly present, as was a man who was shaving.
Silva, a conservative who has run for public office in Fairbanks, allegedly told the man that he didn’t belong in the women’s locker room before reporting him to staff. “He claimed to be a queer male and refused to leave and the staff basically ignored her. Planet Fitness did not reprimand the man. Instead, they booted the woman for complaining about him,” BizPac reported.
Silva then detailed the disturbing incident on social media. Libs of TikTok (LoTT) picked up on the story and calls for a boycott roared across X.
“Why is @PlanetFitness prioritizing a man with a p*nis using a woman’s private space over women’s and girls’ safety?” LoTT demanded to know.

The outrage was palpable.
“I just canceled my Planet Fitness membership. I have been a member since 2017,” announced Students for Trump Chairman Ryan Fournier. “I will NOT standby a company that allows FAKE WOMEN in the ladies room.”

“Planet Fitness is taking its marching orders from the woke mob. Members who are getting sęxually assaulted are getting punished meanwhile predators with the approved identity are getting defended,” fumed one user. “Why would any woman want to be a member at a Planet Fitness?”

Rather than back down, Planet Fitness “said although some members may feel uncomfortable sharing facilities, ‘this discomfort is not a reason to deny access to the transgender member,'” according to the Daily Mail.
“The company’s stock fell by 7.8 percent on Tuesday, going from its opening price of $59.44 to a five-month low of $54.80, it then rebounded slightly,” the outlet reports.
On Wednesday, LoTT posted a Planet Fitness commercial to X.
“They really don’t know which locker room men and women are supposed to use,” the popular account noted. “They make a mockery of women. It’s a joke to them. WOMEN ARE NOT SAFE AT PLANET FITNESS!!”
“Their own policies even proudly state that men can use the women’s locker rooms,” LoTT added. “Unbelievable.”
