A testy President Joe Biden snapped at a reporter when asked about House Republican allegations of his involvement with his son’s and brother’s foreign business dealings, calling them a bunch of lies” before storming off.
The geriatric Democrat was already having a bad day with his $60 billion giveaway to Ukraine stalled in Congress when Steven Nelson of the New York Post popped the question about what he’d tell Americans about the interactions he had with “so many” of Hunter and Jim Biden’s associates.
“There’s polling by the Associated Press that shows that almost 70 percent of Americans including 40 percent of Democrats believe that you acted either illegally or unethically in regards to your family’s business interests,” the reporter stated, referring to more bad numbers for Biden.
“Can you explain…why you interacted with so many of your son and brother’s foreign business associates?” Nelson asked.
“I did not. It’s just a bunch of lies, “Biden angrily responded. “They’re lies. I did not…they’re lies,” he said as he dismissively waved his hand and stormed off.

The AP poll that the journalist was referring to doesn’t bode well for Biden who is already deeply unpopular and facing voter concern about his advanced age before the idea began to catch on with the public that he might also be a crook.
Republicans reacted to the president’s accusing them of being liars with the fact checks that his media cheerleaders won’t bother with.
“The President just lied again to the American people,” Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) noted on X, formerly Twitter. “FACT: There are at least 22 examples of Joe Biden speaking with or meeting with Hunter Biden’s foreign business associates.”

Rep. James Comer (R-KY) who heads up the House Oversight Committee that’s closing in on “The Big Guy” also shot down Biden’s denial.

The GOP also took to the platform to list the specific examples to show that the fibber in chief is spewing more malarkey as well.

“Under fire for expelling George Santos, Speaker Johnson is throwing red meat to Marjorie Taylor Greene and the far right flank of the House GOP by pushing a full House vote on this illegitimate impeachment stunt. He admitted there is no evidence to justify it three weeks ago, but he’s doing it anyway — further proof that this whole exercise is an extreme political stunt, rather than a legitimate pursuit of the truth,” White House spokesman for oversight and investigations Ian Sams said in a statement on the upcoming impeachment inquiry vote.
