Canadian psychologist and author Dr. Jordan Peterson promised an all-out “war” after a court ruled against his appeal of a decision to send him to a “re-education camp.”
Peterson, a retired University of Toronto psychology professor, took a stand in a social media post, saying he has “no other legal avenues open” now since the Appeals Court of Ontario dismissed his appeal request.
“A higher court in Canada has ruled that the Ontario College of Psychologists indeed has the right to sentence me to re-education camp. There are no other legal avenues open to me now,” he wrote on X. “It’s capitulate to the petty bureaucrats and the addle-pated woke mob or lose my professional licence.”

The College of Psychologists of Ontario had ordered Peterson to undergo “social media communication coaching” after he was accused of hate speech, making controversial comments and speaking out against ‘gender-affirming care.’ He refused and appealed the earlier decision by the Ontario Divisional Court that upheld the college’s order.
In the post on Wednesday, Peterson said the college had “won this round,” but that the war was far from over.

“Mark my words, however: the war has barely started. There is nothing you can take from me that I’m unwilling to lose,” he wrote.
He also detailed the latest in a column for National Post, writing, “I regret none of these actions. I would say exactly the same things again.”

He said the current state is that he must either comply or he “can tell my would-be masters to go directly to the hell they are so rapidly gathering around themselves and everyone else.”
He warned that “this is what lies ahead in the West, given the course our leaders and their still-blind and deaf followers are charting” and told Canadians “Your right to free speech is essentially non-existent.”

He seemed not worried about losing his license for standing his ground.
“I am independently wealthy,” Peterson wrote. “I am also not dependent even on my formal status as a psychologist. This makes me very unlike my colleagues and fellow professionals, for whom threat to their licence is an intolerable threat to livelihood, reputation and family stability, financial and otherwise.”
The court’s rejection of Peterson’s appeal and the best-selling author’s remarks on X ignited a load of reactions from supporters.
