New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) gloated over the recent ruling in her lawsuit against former President Donald Trump and celebrated women’s roles in trying to hold him accountable.
Puffed up over the historic ruling by Judge Engoron in the civil fraud case that fined Trump nearly $355 million, James posted a clip from her interview with ABC’s Aaron Katersky.
“Why is it only women that have so far held him to account? Fani Willis has gotten some guilty pleas. E. Jean Carroll got a huge judgment, you have the second biggest judgment in the history of New York State,” Katersky asked.
“Why is it women?” he questioned the AG who has made it her mission to bring Trump and his family down.

“Someone once told me, if you want something done, give it to a woman,” James replied.
Last week’s outrageous ruling was praised by James who declared at a press briefing, “Today, justice has been served. Today we proved that no one is above the law. No matter how rich, powerful, or politically connected you are.”
“The scale and the scope of Donald Trump’s fraud is staggering… and so too is his ego. And his belief that the rules do not apply to him,” James added. “Today, we are holding Donald Trump accountable.”
Speaking with ABC News on Tuesday, James threatened to seize Trump’s properties if he doesn’t pay the fine.
“If he does not have funds to pay off the judgment, then we will seek judgment enforcement mechanisms in court, and we will ask the judge to seize his assets,” she said.
Businessman Kevin O’Leary of “Shark Tank” fame was among many others condemning the decision and warning of the long-term effects on businesses in the Empire State.
