Truth has been flipped on its head in today’s upside-down world, with the left defining the term by how the intended message fits its political designs.
On that note, U.S. Rep. Jamie Raskin (R-MD) opted to rename the Marxist-inspired “squad” of radical left Democrats in Congress the “Truth Squad,” for its effectiveness in twisting the truth while running cover for President Biden and his son Hunter Biden.
Raskin is the ranking member on the Republican-controlled House Oversight Committee, which is actively investigating the Biden family’s domestic and international business dealings “to determine whether these activities compromise U.S. national security and President Biden’s ability to lead with impartiality.”
He appeared Sunday on MSNBC’s The Weekend to praise the propaganda efforts of his fellow Democrats on the panel, including U.S. Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Cori Bush (D-MO), and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) — all notorious members of “the squad.”
“I call my members on the Oversight Committee ‘the Truth Squad’ because they are devoted to getting the truth out there and explaining it in terms that America can understand,” Raskin said. “And they do a fantastic job.”

The Oversight Committee is currently considering a resolution to hold Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress for defying two of its subpoenas — the president’s son arrogantly walked into a hearing last week while the matter was being discussed, before beating a hasty retreat when Republicans had a question or two.
The panel has charged that Biden family members “have a pattern of peddling access to the highest levels of government to enrich themselves, often to the detriment of U.S. interests.”
“We are committed to following the Biden family and associates’ money trail — consisting of many complex, international transactions worth millions of dollars — and providing answers to the American people. The American people deserve to know whether the President’s connections to his family’s business deals occurred at the expense of American interests and whether they represent a national security threat,” the GOP-led committee has stated.
