Rashida Tlaib breaks silence, slams Israel’s ‘apartheid’ government, fellow Dem rips ‘Squad’ members as ‘repulsive’

It took a while but the final member of the radical left Democrat “Squad” has finally reacted to the horrific slaughter of hundreds of civilians by Hamas terrorists in Israel on Saturday.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), who wears her loathing of the Jewish democracy on her sleeve like a badge of honor, issued a statement on Sunday afternoon condemning the violence while smearing the Israeli government as an “apartheid” regime, a description that only fans the flames of anti-Semitism.

“I grieve the Palestinian and Israeli lives lost yesterday, today, and every day. I am determined as ever to fight for a just future where everyone can live in peace, without fear and with true freedom, equal rights, and human dignity,” the Michigan Democrat said in the statement released by her office.

“The path to the future must include lifting the blockade, ending the occupation, and dismantling the apartheid system that creates the suffocating, dehumanizing conditions that can lead to resistance,” the Jew-hating lawmaker added.

“The failure to recognize the violent reality of living under siege, occupation, and apartheid makes no one safer,” the left-wing congresswoman continued. “No person, no child anywhere should have to suffer or live in fear of violence. We cannot ignore the humanity in each other. As long as our country provides billions in unconditional funding to support the apartheid government, this heartbreaking cycle of violence will continue.”

Tlaib didn’t call for a “ceasefire” like her fellow charter “Squad” members Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) did, naively thinking that Israel would hold back after the women and children were butchered with some of the terrorists proudly showing off their dead bodies as trophies, but like BLM radical Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO), she played the “apartheid” card and demanded that the Jewish ally be cut off from further U.S. funding.

While the vast majority of Democrats have tacitly sanctioned the anti-Semitism of the “Squad” and once again held their tongues, one Dem lawmaker slammed the “reprehensible and repulsive” language from his leftist colleagues.

In a statement to Marc Rod, a reporter for Jewish Insider, Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY) said, “U.S. aid to Israel is and should be unconditional, and never more so than in this moment of critical need.”

“Congress must act decisively to provide Israel with whatever it needs to defend itself in the face of unprecedented terrorism,” he added.

“Shame on anyone who glorifies as ‘resistance’ the largest single-day mass murder of Jews since the Holocaust. It is reprehensible and repulsive,” Rep. Torres said in a long overdue rebuke to the Jew-haters in the Democrat House caucus.
