President Joe Biden is looking to use the State of the Union address to gaslight the public into believing that he is mentally sharp and capable, his almost certain opponent will have a thing or two to say about it.
When the deeply unpopular octogenarian delivers his nationally televised speech on Thursday night, presumptive GOP nominee Donald J. Trump will counter with his own running commentary, disputing Biden’s lies in real-time as an essential service to the American people.
“I am pleased to inform you that tomorrow night we will be doing a LIVE, Play by Play, of Crooked Joe Biden’s State of the Union Address. I will correct, in rapid response, any and all inaccurate Statements, especially pertaining to the Border and his Weaponization of the DOJ, FBI, A.G.s, and District Attorneys, to go after his Political Opponent, ME (something never done before in this Country!). We did this once before to tremendous success – Beating All Records. It is important for the Country to get the TRUTH!” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Wednesday.

Biden’s handlers have been working hard to use the annual SOTU as a reset for the 81-year-old who is lagging in polls and had public perceptions about his advanced age and diminished mental capabilities reinforced with the damning conclusions of special counsel Robert Hur whose report on the mishandling of classified information found him to be essentially too senile to put before a jury.
The buzz has been building among Biden’s allies for the high-stakes sales pitch to voters, one in which among other things, the president will attack “shrinkflation” as he seeks to shift the blame for the prolonged economic pain felt by Americans at grocery stores to food corporations.
Biden is also expected to further demonize tens of millions of Americans and will reportedly suggest that those who aren’t with the program are with Russian President Vladimir Putin, an often invoked bogeyman of the Trump era.
“Are Americans, as he’ll frame it, on the side of lower health care costs, democratic freedoms and Ukraine’s fight to keep itself from being swallowed up by Russia? Or on the side of drug company profits, tax breaks for the wealthy and Russia’s autocratic leader Vladimir Putin?” NBC News reported in a preview of Biden’s big speech.
The gun grabber-in-chief will renew his call for a ban on “assault weapons” as the authoritarian left-wing continues its pursuit of the Holy Grail of disarmament, likely to be a top priority of a second term for Biden with Democrats poised to open up the military to illegal aliens who will be the ones permitted to have guns.
But there is still so much to do before the job’s done. That includes lowering prescription drug prices for every American, getting student debt relief to hardworking borrowers, restoring a woman’s right to choose, and banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. — President Biden (@POTUS) March 6, 2024
Trump isn’t the only prominent conservative who will be fact-checking the notorious fibber, as Tucker Carlson also announced that he’d be doing a live response to Biden’s speech.

“This speech has the potential to be the most important political speech so far in the 21st century,” former Clinton White House chief speechwriter and communications director Donald Baer is quoted by NBC News. “We are at a pivotal moment in the history of the country and the world and certainly in this campaign.”
