Amid revelations over the Jan. 6 kangaroo court, “Dizzy Lizzy” stepped on a rake as she invoked the social media ire of Mark Levin.
Friday, editor-in-chief of The Federalist Mollie Hemingway published a report asserting that then-Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney (R) had “suppressed evidence” related to President Donald Trump’s call to have National Guard troops deployed to help protect the capital.
The following day, Levin took to X to share the report and stated, “Sleazy Liz Cheney needs to receive come of the Stalinist medicine she introduced into the body politick against scores of patriotic Americans — that is, she needs to be compelled to testify under oath about, among other things, what knowledge she may have about: possible witness tampering, censorship of exculpatory information and testimony, the destruction of committee evidence and data, etc. This is very, very important.”

As covered, Hemingway wrote, “Cheney and her committee falsely claimed they had ‘no evidence’ to support Trump officials’ claims the White House had communicated its desire for 10,000 National Guard troops. In fact, an early transcribed interview conducted by the committee included precisely that evidence from a key source.”
“The interview, which Cheney attended and personally participated in,” she contended, “was suppressed from public release until now.”
Levin’s post prompted the former congresswoman to lash out as she reacted, “Hi Mark: I see you’re still spreading BS. You & the bozo who wrote this might want to actually read the 1/6 report (eg, Appendix 2, 741-2, 127-8, 587-92), SecDef Miller’s transcript (Trump never ordered 10k troops), Judge Wallace’s finding (Kash Patel is ‘not a credible witness’).”
In response, suggesting the syndicated radio host believed the one-time lawmaker was attacking his post rather than the report from The Federalist, he slammed, “I wrote it, moron. You’re a pathetic disgrace and demagogue. And have exposed yourself for all time. Funny who you avoid public debates with your detractors, including me. Coward. You should consider professional help.”

However, Cheney didn’t let it go and continued, “Good morning, Mark — I was actually referring to the bozo who wrote the article you are peddling. If I had been referring to you, I would have used the term ‘angry bozo.’ Have a nice Sunday.”
Bringing the exchange back to the issue at hand, Hemingway chimed in, “I understand that you are embarrassed and angered by my reporting about how you suppressed exonerating information in your show trial, but the name-calling and tantrums are unnecessary.”

While Cheney had zeroed in on testimony from Patel, the former chief of staff to the acting secretary of defense on Jan. 6, 2021, she hadn’t responded to the focus that was Deputy Chief of Staff Anthony Ornato’s transcribed interview.
“In it,” wrote Hemingway, “he told Cheney and her investigators that he overheard White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows push Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser to request as many National Guard troops as she needed to protect the city.”
“He also testified President Trump had suggested 10,000 would be needed to keep the peace at the public rallies and protests scheduled for January 6, 2021,” she stated. “Ornato also described White House frustration with Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller’s slow deployment of assistance on the afternoon of January 6, 2021.”
The Committee on House Administration’s Subcommittee on Oversight chair, Georgia Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R), released a statement on the revelations that read, “The former J6 Select Committee apparently withheld Mr. Ornato’s critical witness testimony from the American people because it contradicted their pre-determined narrative. Mr. Ornato’s testimony proves what Mr. Meadows has said all along: President Trump did in fact offer 10,000 National Guard troops to secure the U.S. Capitol, which was turned down.”
As he reaffirmed that his investigation was “committed to uncovering all the facts, no matter the outcome,” Levin continued to slam Cheney for shying away from conservatives who also got in on the action.
“By the way Dizzy Lizzy Cheney, you’ve an open invitation to reveal your brilliance on my radio show, outside your leftwing media safe space,” he posted. “You know, the same media that used to hate your family but now loves it.”

She’s too much of a coward. The same people who wanted her dad charged with war crimes are now her bffs— isn’t that right @RepLizCheney ? — Scarlet☘️O’Máille (@ScarletOMaga) March 11, 2024
Whatever the amount of contempt you have for these people I promise you its not enough!!! — Dr. WTF (@ryanh71879) March 11, 2024
The sweetest revenge was @RepLizCheney being absolutely humiliated, trounced and ridiculed in her devastating re-election loss. Now, if she’s brought up on charges for burying exculpatory evidence, that would be the icing on a very sweet cake. — Right Wing Jewess (@RightWingJewess) March 10, 2024
Cheney keeps using that word “ordered” to mislead the public. The authority is delegated to the Sec of Defense / Sec of Army. Trump concurred in activation which is what he needed to do. pic.twitter.com/IZFqDwwCen — Unauthorized Narrative (@mgEyesOpen) March 10, 2024
Jan. 6 committee coverup. Put them under oath, including Dizzy Lizzy, and get to the bottom of this. I notice when Dizzy’s committee release information to their media clapping seals, the word ordered was used in lieu of offered. Very clever. I’ll discuss on radio tomorrow.… — Mark R.
